Job summary

Careers International in the UAE is seeking a highly skilled Telecom RF & Network Engineer with proven EPC project experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Energy sector. Expect strong RF, UHF/VHF, and IP networking expertise, with ADNOC project exposure highly preferred.

You'll design and engineer RF networks, perform propagation analysis, and coordinate with EPC teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project execution on a 3-month assignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years telecom engineering experience.
• EPC experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Energy projects.
• Strong RF engineering and radio systems knowledge.
• Hands-on with UHF/VHF systems.
• Good IP networking and network architecture understanding.
• Basic cybersecurity awareness for industrial networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer RF communication networks for EPC projects.
• Perform frequency planning, link budget calculations, and propagation analysis.
• Work with UHF/VHF radio systems, base stations, antennas and dispatch systems.
• Support microwave integration and telecom system integration.
• Handle installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Support IP network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VLAN, routing and switching.
• Review telecom deliverables and documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, consultants and EPC teams.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Telecom RF & Network Engineer with proven experience in EPC projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Energy sector. Strong expertise in RF Engineering, UHF/VHF Radio Systems and IP Networking is required. ADNOC project experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer RF communication networks for EPC projects.
• Perform frequency planning, link budget calculations, propagation analysis, interference studies and coverage assessments.
• Work with UHF/VHF radio systems, repeaters, base stations, antennas, handheld/mobile radios and dispatch systems.
• Support microwave integration and telecom system integration.
• Handle installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of telecom systems.
• Support IP network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VLAN, routing and switching.
• Apply basic cybersecurity practices including firewalls, access control and network segmentation.
• Review and develop telecom engineering deliverables, drawings and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, consultants and multidisciplinary EPC teams throughout project execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Telecom Engineering experience.
• EPC experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of RF Engineering and Radio Communication Systems.
• Hands-on experience with UHF/VHF systems.
• Good understanding of IP Networking and network architecture.
• Basic knowledge of Cyber Security and industrial communication security.
• Experience preparing/reviewing RF studies, network diagrams, datasheets, material requisitions, method statements and commissioning procedures.
• ADNOC project experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination and project management skills.
