Job description

Role Overview

Join our dynamic service department as a Technician – Polaris Vehicles with Specialized Sports Equipment, where you will be instrumental in ensuring the performance and reliability of Polaris off-road and on-road vehicles. As part of our team in Dubai, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, collaborating closely with colleagues and receiving direct support from the Team Leader and Service Supervisor. This opportunity is ideal for technically skilled automotive professionals eager to expand their expertise on power sports vehicles such as ATVs, UTVs, and more. The role offers unique training opportunities through Polaris University and hands-on experience with innovative off-road technology.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Polaris off-road and on-road vehicles (RZR, Ranger, Sportsman, Slingshot, etc.).
  • Diagnose technical issues using Polaris Digital Wrench and standard automotive diagnostic tools.
  • Repair mechanical, suspension, drivetrain, engine, brake, and steering systems.
  • Conduct post-service testing to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Assist with Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and installation of accessories.
  • Accurately complete service documentation and maintain clear job cards.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain high workshop housekeeping standards.
  • Participate in Polaris-specific training through Polaris University.
  • Support fleet operations, campaigns, and provide on-site service assistance when required.

Requirements for the Role

  • 3 to 5 years’ hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician.
  • ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
  • Expertise in automotive systems including electrical, fuel, drivetrain, and cooling.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting a wide range of issues.
  • Experience with motorcycles, ATVs, or recreational vehicles is valued.
  • Willingness to participate in Polaris-specific training and pursue certification.
  • Good communication skills for conveying technical findings clearly.
  • Physical fitness and stamina; ability to lift parts and work outdoors as required.
  • UAE driving or motorcycle license is considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional work ethic.
  • Able to multitask efficiently and maintain performance with minimal supervision.
