Job summary

Atlantis Resorts is seeking a skilled facilities technician to inspect and maintain electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems across the property. You will work on water distribution, pumps, pools, and safety-critical equipment, ensuring high standards of service and reliability.

The role requires at least 6 years in a facilities maintenance trade, with hands-on experience in PPR/PVC piping, welding, and general building maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in facilities maintenance trade or similar.
• Experience across Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and related trades.
• Ability to work unsupervised and follow safety guidelines.
• Capable of shift coverage and basic supervision tasks.
• Familiar with building layouts and emergency duties.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, perform and maintain electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Maintain water distribution and filtration systems and pumps.
• Operate and service pools and chemical dosing equipment.
• Repair and maintain sanitary plumbing and drainage networks.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and proper tool calibration.
• Mentor others and participate in CBM/preventive maintenance.

Job is to inspect, perform work and preventative maintenance in all aspects and general maintenance of facilities structures and equipment.

About The Role

• Ability to complete assigned task with no supervision. Worked in a specific facilities maintenance trade for at least 6 years and attended a trade school or upper education.
• Ability to sustain assigned aspects of the property in adherence to typical facilities maintenance procedures this to include but not limited to: Electrical, Mechanical, Kitchen, Painting, Carpentry, Audio and Visual systems, Fire life safety systems, recreational water systems, Hotel rooms and public areas, exterior resort features. Etc.
• Reports to Supervisor and Manager and performs tasks and assignments as necessary.
• Carries out CBM’s (Conditional Based Maintenance) as assigned and follows through with preventive maintenance as per equipment manufacturers and property guidelines and manuals.
• Work safe and follow all health and safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Must perform shift coverage as assigned.
• Escalate and advise senior personnel on issues
• Must become familiar with the layout of the building and property
• Ability to work and perform required duties during building emergencies
• Required to keep areas clean - before, during and after jobs. Report cleanliness issues to supervision.
• Maintain tools and equipment as issued, ensure calibration is updated where appropriate
• Will be required to teach and train others

About You

• Hands on Knowledge and experience on installation PPR/ PVC pipeline and all types of sanitary waters (Wash basin / WC/ Shower / taps / drains)
• Knowledge and experience on laying PPR pipes with use PPR welding machines / fittings with associated dyes.
• Knowledge about maintenance and operation of the building water distribution and filtration system (Cold / Hot water system) and associated pump sets
• Work experience on the maintenance and operation of pumps, motors, valves, bearings, seals, pipe fitting of multiple types, etc.
• Knowledge operation and maintenance on pools and chemical dosing system (Chlorine / PH )
• Knowledge and experience on installation PPR/ PVC pipeline and all plumbing piping for sanitaryware's general wash basins, water closet, shower, tubs, sink, kitchen water supply and drains, etc.
• Knowledge and experience in maintenance of pumps / motors and replacement bearings / seal/ valves etc.)
• Knowledge and experience on welding including stick, MIG, TIG, Oxy/Acet.
