Job summary

Atlantis Dubai is seeking a Plumber Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across domestic water, drainage, and sanitary systems at our luxury resort in Dubai.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, reading plumbing drawings, and adherence to health and safety procedures. You will collaborate with engineering and other trades, support water conservation, and respond to guest requests and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of domestic water, drainage, hot water, sanitary systems.
• Ability to read basic plumbing drawings and identify piping layouts.
• Understanding of health, safety, and permit-to-work procedures.
• Experience in plumbing maintenance in hotels or large facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, faulty valves and pumps.
• Install, replace, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
• Inspect plumbing systems and report defects needing action.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
• Assist with pipe modifications, shutdowns, and commissioning of new installations.
• Conduct flushing and water hygiene activities as directed.
• Maintain tools and work areas in safe condition.
• Complete maintenance records and reports accurately.

The Plumber Technician is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of domestic water, hot water, drainage, sanitary, and plumbing systems throughout the property. The role ensures all plumbing services operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards while providing timely support to operational requirements and guest requests

About the Role

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on domestic water, drainage, hot water, sanitary, and plumbing systems.
• Diagnose and repair water leakages, pipe blockages, faulty valves, pumps, sanitary fixtures, and plumbing equipment.
• Install, replace, and maintain pipes, fittings, valves, water closets, wash basins, faucets, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Carry out routine inspections of plumbing systems and report defects requiring corrective action.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, and plumbing breakdowns.
• Assist with pipe modifications, shutdown activities, and commissioning of new plumbing installations.
• Conduct flushing, temperature monitoring, and other water hygiene activities as directed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Complete maintenance records, work orders, and inspection reports accurately.
• Follow all Health, Safety, and Permit-to-Work procedures while carrying out maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with other engineering trades and contractors to ensure efficient completion of maintenance works.
• Support water conservation initiatives by identifying leaks and recommending improvements. May assist in training or mentoring Technician 1 roles.

About You

• SITI, Trade Certificate, or Diploma in Plumbing or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in plumbing maintenance within hotels, commercial buildings, hospitals, or similar facilities.
• Knowledge of domestic water, drainage, hot water, sanitary systems, pumps, valves, and plumbing fixtures.
• Ability to read basic plumbing drawings and identify piping layouts.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing tools, equipment, and maintenance techniques.
• Understanding of health, safety, and permit-to-work procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and respond to emergency maintenance when required.
