Job summary

AECOM in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Technician - Digital Delivery (CAD/Microstation) to manage digital delivery processes and produce high-quality CAD drawings and models using Civil 3D. You will support project teams on infrastructure projects while maintaining accuracy and documentation standards.

Responsibilities include QA checks, version-controlled filing, and collaboration with engineers to meet client timelines. 5+ years in Microstation/CAD and UAE experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Microstation and CAD software.
• Experience with sewerage and drainage networks, irrigation, utilities.
• Proficient in creating/managing CAD models for infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of BIM concepts and Civil 3D certification preferred.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Technician - Digital Delivery (CAD/Microstation) to join our growing team in Dubai United Arab this role you will be responsible for managing digital delivery processes and producing high-quality CAD drawings and models using Civil 3D. You will work efficiently to support project teams in delivering infrastructure and construction projects on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and documentation.

• Develop modify and maintain (CAD & Microstation) models and CAD drawings in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including plans profiles and cross-sections for infrastructure projects
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure digital deliverables meet client requirements and project timelines
• Perform quality assurance checks on all CAD files and models to verify accuracy consistency and compliance with standardsli>
• Organize and manage project files ensuring proper version control and systematic documentation practices
• Support the implementation of digital delivery methodologies and best practices across project teams
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design data and resolve technical issues
• Generate reports and maintain detailed records of digital deliverables and project progress
• Stay current with Civil 3D updates tools and industry advancements to optimize workflow efficiency

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture or a related discipline
• Minimum 5years of professional experience working with Microstation and CAD software
• Experience inSewerage and drainage networks Irrigation pipeline utilities etc
• Demonstrated expertise in creating and managing CAD models for infrastructure projects
• Strong proficiency in digital delivery processes and project coordination
• Solid understanding of civil engineering design standards and best practices
• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) concepts and applications
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in technical documentation and report generation
• Autodesk Civil 3D certification or equivalent professional qualification (preferred)
• Experience with infrastructure or construction projects in the Middle East region (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in team environments
