Job summary

Aggreko in Dubai seeks a skilled Technician to refurbish, repair and maintain Aggreko equipment, reporting to the lead technician. You will assemble components and carry out diagnostic work to keep equipment safe and reliable.

The role requires mechanical and electrical repair experience, the ability to read engineering drawings, and the discipline to work to high quality standards. You will collaborate with the local team to meet schedules while upholding safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in the power generation field.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with service and repair methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with electrical fitting and wiring is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with high quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Refurbishment, repair and maintenance of Aggreko equipment.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and effectively.
• Assemble fuel and cooling system hoses, pipes and fittings.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, assembly and overhaul of Aggreko products.
• Mating and torquing flange assemblies.
• Use of air/power tools, hand tools, torque tools and measuring equipment.
• Maintain safe, tidy work area and comply with environmental health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with direct team and cross-functional teams.

Were looking for Technician who will report to the lead technician the SRC technician is responsible for the refurbishment repair & maintenance of Aggreko equipment. Ensuring that all work is completed safely efficiently and effectively.

• Assembly of Fuel and Cooling system hoses pipes and fittings

• Working strictly in accordance with company policies procedures & processes

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental health and safety regulations.

Youll have the following skills and experience:

• Experience Working in the power generation field.

• Knowledge on Mechanical and Electrical repairs

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with a strong knowledge of Service and repair methods with experience of assembling mechanical systems.

• Understand and interpret engineering drawings.

• Experience of working on electrical fitting/wiring would also be desirable but not essential.

• Excellent communication skills

• Able to work under pressure and deliver tasks on time to a high level of quality and accuracy with strong attention to detail.
