Job summary

Aggreko is hiring a Project Technician for Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The role focuses on maintenance, repair, and commissioning of Jenbacher gas engines and associated equipment.

You will perform mechanical servicing, fault finding, and support installation/commissioning while maintaining high quality and safety standards in a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations/technical projects.
• Understanding of Project Operations Procedures.
• Experience with gas and diesel generators.
• INNIO certificated minimum FTB/FTA preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Electrical fitting/wiring experience desirable.
• Specialized Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Able to work under pressure and deliver on time.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical servicing and general equipment maintenance per procedures.
• Carry out fault finding/repair on Aggreko equipment.
• Support installation and commissioning activities; adhere to high-quality standards and escalate quality issues.

Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Project Technician based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. You'll be involved in the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of specialized gas power generation equipment, specifically Jenbacher gas engines. Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end. We keep our customers' worlds on. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.

What you'll do as Project Technician

• Perform routine mechanical servicing activities and general equipment maintenance in line with operating procedures and SWI.
• Carryout fault finding / repair on Aggreko equipment.
• Support on requirement for Installation and Commissioning activities Working to the high-quality standards of the business and escalating quality issues when they arise

You are

• Experienced in operations/technical projects
• Knowledge of Project Operations Procedures.
• Experience Working in Gas and Diesel generators.
• Preferred INNIO Certificated minimum FTB/FTA
• Understand and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience of working on electrical fitting/wiring would also be desirable but not essential.
• Specialized Diploma/Vocational Training
• Able to work under pressure and deliver tasks on time, to a high level of quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
• HV-AP is a plus factor but not essential
