Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Project Technician based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. You will perform routine servicing, fault finding, and installation support for gas power generation equipment, including Jenbacher gas engines.

The role requires experience in operations with gas and diesel generators and the ability to read engineering drawings, with opportunities to travel internationally for service operations.

Qualifications

• Experienced in operations/technical projects.
• Knowledge of Project Operations Procedures.
• Experience Working in Gas and Diesel generators.
• Understand and interpret engineering drawings.
• Specialized Diploma/Vocational Training.
• HV-AP is a plus factor but not essential.

Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Project Technician based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. You'll be involved in the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of specialized gas power generation equipment, specifically Jenbacher gas engines.

What You'll Do As Project Technician

• Perform routine mechanical servicing activities and general equipment maintenance in line with operating procedures and SWI.
• Carryout fault finding / repair on Aggreko equipment.
• Support on requirement for Installation and Commissioning activities
• Working to the high-quality standards of the business and escalating quality issues when they arise

You Are

• Experienced in operations/technical projects
• Knowledge of Project Operations Procedures.
• Experience Working in Gas and Diesel generators.
• Preferred INNIO Certificated minimum FTB/FTA
• Understand and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience of working on electrical fitting/wiring would also be desirable but not essential.
• Specialized Diploma/Vocational Training
• Able to work under pressure and deliver tasks on time, to a high level of quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
• HV-AP is a plus factor but not essential
