Job summary

Miral Experiences seeks an experienced Training Lead to deliver technical training for its Technical Services teams in Abu Dhabi. You will develop and maintain training materials, identify evolving requirements, and coordinate external programs while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

You will also mentor other trainers, track certifications, and support budgeted procurement of training tools and technologies to drive continuous improvements in technical competencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) required.
• Minimum 5+ years in technical training or related field.
• At least 3 years in a management role in training contexts.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to design and deliver technical training programs.
• Strong organizational and mentorship abilities.

The position requires regular collaboration with management and technical teams to address training gaps, align training with operational goals, and maintain compliance with industry standards. The role also involves maintaining accurate training records, tracking certifications, and ensuring all team members meet required technical competencies.

• Facilitate and conduct technical training to Miral Experiences Technical services colleagues.

• Identify new or changing training requirements and develop a training program to meet them.

• Recommend solutions to performance challenges and identify areas for potential training enhancement.
• Mentor other trainers in the subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical training.
• Maintain safe and healthy training environment by following Miral's standards and legal regulations, ensuring any maintenance issues are promptly reported and resolved.
• Assist the Technical Training Director in managing the training budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Oversee the procurement of materials, tools, and technologies needed to support training initiatives.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Recognized trainer experience in the area of expertise (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical training, engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years in a management role, preferably in a technical or training-related environment
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and delivering technical training programs, with a focus on preventive maintenance, safety, and compliance.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Must be able to instruct in front of large groups of individuals or provide one-on-one training as necessary.
• Must possess the ability to read and understand various technical manuals, drawings and circuits.
• Communication and presentation skills.
• Programming and setup of training modules.
• Ability to design and write knowledge-based programs.

Desirable

• 8+ years of experience in technical training, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Recognized trainer experience in more than one area of expertise (Electrical and Mechanical).
• Should possess practical skill and proficient knowledge in two or more trades, such as: electrical, electronics, PLC, hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics.
• Advanced knowledge of technical training, including preventive maintenance, safety protocols, inspections, and industry best practices.
• Proficient in the use of technical training tools, simulation technologies, and learning management systems (LMS).
