Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking a Training Specialist to organize and deliver technical training programs for technicians in the After Sales Division in Dubai. The role focuses on equipping staff with updated technical expertise to maintain professional service standards.

Key responsibilities include identifying training gaps, designing technical curricula, coordinating with principals, and evaluating training effectiveness through feedback and cost-benefit analysis.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years hands-on experience in the service division.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the training plan by identifying gaps and determining the number of training days and timelines to meet objectives.
• Design and present technical programs to ensure relevant training is provided for local programs.
• Conduct training programs where principals cannot deliver on-the-job training to ensure internal resources are utilized efficiently.
• Attend training courses conducted by principals and coordinate with Service Divisions to ensure timely participation and gain product knowledge.
• Follow up and gather feedback from participants and supervisors/Managers to assess effectiveness and cost-benefit to meet business objectives.
• Perform skills testing of applicants to ensure new recruits have appropriate skills to develop to best industry practice.

Responsibilities

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

• Contribute the to the training plan by identifying the gaps and determine the number of targeted training days, the timelines in order to meet the training objectives
• Design and present technical programs to ensure that the relevant technical training is provided to serve as a technical resource for programs that are developed and presented locally.
• Conduct training programs where principals cannot deliver the on-the-job technical training to ensure internal resources are efficiently utilized.
• Attend training courses conducted by the principals and co-ordinate with the Service Divisions to ensure timely participation of the nominated staff in the courses so as to gain product knowledge and skills required to perform the job.
• Follow-up consistently and gather feedback from the participants as well as their Supervisors/ Managers to assess the effectiveness of training, its impact on technician’s performance and its’ cost-benefit analysis in order to provide training courses which benefit the technical staff and meet the overall business objectives of the company.
• Perform skills testing of applicants to ensure that the new recruits bring in appropriate skills and caliber to ensure that they can be developed to the level of best industry practice
