Job summary

ADNOC Logistics & Services in Abu Dhabi seeks a Chief Engineer to oversee the overall management and technical operations of the ships, including maintenance planning, budget oversight and compliance with class and IMO rules.

You will supervise dry-docking, manage spares and equipment, track performance, and ensure safety and environmental standards are met across the dry fleet.

8 years of experience and a relevant engineering degree are required; certifications/licenses are necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• 8 years of experience, progressing to Chief Engineer.
• Relevant certifications / licenses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of maintenance and repair for the ships.
• Ensure vessels are technically operational in line with management agreements and regulations.
• Supervise dry-docking and prepare repair specifications.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, certifications, and equipment lifecycles.
• Manage spare parts, fuel, and consumables; control costs.
• Prepare detailed reports on technical activities and expenditures.
