Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company seeks a Chief Engineer to oversee the overall management and technical operations of the Company’s Ships. This includes maintenance, repair, budgeting, survey schedules, and docking.

Ensure vessels are technically operational, compliant with class, IMO, OCIMF and ICS rules, while maintaining costs and safety across the dry fleet. 8 years’ experience and a Bachelor’s in Engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications/licenses.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the management and technical operations of the Company’s ships, including maintenance, repair, budgeting, survey schedules, and docking.
• Ensure vessels are technically operational and managed per the management agreement, with safety and regulatory compliance across the department.
• Oversee dry-docking processes, prepare repair specifications, analyse tender documents, and supervise maintenance within budget.
