Job summary

ADNOC Logistics & Services in Abu Dhabi seeks a Chief Engineer for the overall management and technical operations of the dry fleet. You will supervise maintenance, repairs, budgeting, dry-dock planning, inspections, and compliance with class, IMO, OCIMF and ICS standards.

You will lead shipmasters and chief engineers, monitor spare parts, ensure safety and environmental practices, and prepare detailed reports on technical activities and expenditures to support budgeting and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• CoC (Class 1) or equivalent qualification.
• 8 years of experience, progressing to Chief Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of maintenance and repair for the dry fleet.
• Supervise dry-dock planning, repairs, and budget adherence.
• Monitor ship certifications, surveys and regulatory compliance.
• Lead inspections of machinery, equipment and documentation.
• Prepare detailed reports on technical activities and expenditures.
