Job summary

Uplift is seeking a Technical Service Specialist to support customers in the grain processing, distilling, and bioenergy sectors across the Middle East and Africa. You will drive product adoption, deliver technical excellence, and lead regional innovation initiatives.

The role requires strong fermentation expertise, field-trial leadership, and the ability to collaborate across functions while traveling extensively to client sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in biotechnology, chemical engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of technical experience in grain processing, distilling, ethanol production, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of fermentation, distillery operations, or biofuel applications.
• Experience leading field trials and analyzing technical data.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the Middle East and Africa region.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct technical service and troubleshooting to clients, ensuring optimal product use.
• Lead technical onboarding and field implementation of new product launches across the region.
• Initiate and drive regional innovation projects in collaboration with application teams and customers.
• Conduct technical training and workshops for internal teams, distributors, and customers.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and customer needs to inform development strategies.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, regulatory, and R&D teams to align technical activities with commercial goals.
