Job summary
OLM Consultants is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative in Dubai to grow the industrial aftermarket business for an international engineering group. You will combine technical sales, new business development, maintenance knowledge and distributor management.
You will engage with maintenance, technical and purchasing teams, develop distributors, and drive orders while traveling regularly across the Middle East region. Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in technical sales or industrial aftermarket.
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, materials, or industrial maintenance.
- Experience with end-users and distributors.
- Proven prospecting and new‑business development ability.
- Able to discuss technical products with maintenance/engineering pros.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship skills.
Responsibilities

Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to develop the industrial aftermarket business for an international engineering group in Dubai.
This is a field-based commercial role combining technical sales, new business development, industrial maintenance knowledge and distributor management.
You will work directly with industrial end-users, particularly Maintenance, Technical and Purchasing teams, while developing strong relationships with distributors across the region.
- Develop new industrial customers and identify business opportunities
- Build and execute an end-user prospecting plan
- Visit customers and understand their technical and maintenance requirements
- Promote, demonstrate and test mechanical/industrial products
- Convert opportunities into orders and achieve annual sales targets
- Develop relationships with distributors, sales teams and technical managers
- Train and technically support distributors and end-users
- Negotiate commercial opportunities and support the sales process
- Coordinate orders, deliveries and payment topics
- Maintain customer and opportunity information in the CRM
- Monitor competitors, applications and market developments
- Work closely with Customer Service, Engineering and Marketing
- Travel regularly within the Middle East region
We are looking for a hunter who combines technical understanding with strong customer-facing and commercial skills.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales, industrial aftermarket, mechanical maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, materials and/or industrial maintenance
- Experience working with industrial end-users and/or distributors
- Proven prospecting and new-business development ability
- Comfortable discussing technical products with maintenance and engineering professionals
- Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills
- Independent and comfortable managing a regional territory
- CRM and Microsoft Office experience
- Technical education in mechanical engineering, maintenance, materials or a related discipline
- Fluent Arabic – mandatory
- Fluent English – mandatory
French is an advantage but not required.
- Base salary: approx. €71,000 equivalent, paid in AED
- Annual bonus: up to 20% of base salary
- Housing allowance: approx. €22,500 equivalent annually
- Potential total cash package: approx. €107,700 equivalent including maximum bonus and housing
