Job summary

Archirodon Group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a motivated E&I Technical Office Engineer to join a busy EPC project team. You will prepare and review MAR/MR, coordinate with engineering, and produce E&I work packages for construction activities on site.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor/Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, strong vendor coordination, calibration know-how, and proficiency in interfacing with procurement, civil,

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in E&I for EPC projects.
• Hands-on experience with calibration, fault diagnosis, and field issues during construction and commissioning.
• Experience witnessing and verifying E&I activities with vendors and contractors to ensure system integrity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/Review MAR/MR for E&I activities and ensure alignment with client requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering team to address technical concerns and support procurement/construction.
• Prepare and review E&I work packages for construction activities and coordinate with site team.
• Conduct site surveys with vendors and provide required technical data.
• Prepare and review Sub-Contractors RFQ statements for E&I work activities.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors on technical queries and deviations.
• Develop E&I tie-in schedules for shutdowns and ensure drawings/docs are ready.
• Prepare redline mark-up drawings reflecting site modifications.
• Monitor and report daily progress and ensure safety/QA/QC adherence.

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable E&I Technical Office Engineer to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team in one of our projects in UAE.

• Prepare/Review Method Statements, Material Approval Request (MAR)/MR for various E&I activities.
• Coordinatingwith the Engineering team to highlight and address engineering concerns in a timely manner, based on site requirements.
• Preparing E&I work packages for construction activities & coordinating closely with construction team to ensure smooth execution at site.
• Conducting site surveys with vendors and providing required technical data to the Engineering team in alignment with Client requirements for E&I activities.
• Preparing and Reviewing Sub-Contractors RFQ statement for E&I work activities.
• Floating technical queries with procurement department and with vendors.
• Well familiar with calibration activities prior or after installation devices at site for instrumentation.
• Developing E&I tie-in schedules for shutdown periods, ensuring all related drawings, documents, and materials are arranged to meet project deadlines.
• Preparing redline mark-up drawings reflecting site modifications and actual installation conditions.
• Monitoring & reporting daily progress reports.
• Preparing E&I work packages for construction activities & coordinating closely with construction team to ensure smooth execution at site.
• Highlight to procurement department if any materials received are deviating with the approved MAR/MR or as per AVL.
• Verify 3D model / MTO and raise the deviation points to engineering team and accordingly issue the purchase request.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Extensive experience in vendor drawing reviews, client and contractor/sub-contractor interactions, and providing technical support to procurement and construction teams.
• Hands-on experience in calibration, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting activities during construction and commissioning phases.
• Experienced in witnessing and verifying E&I activities with vendors and manufacturers to ensure system integrity and project compliance.
• Strong coordination skills with various engineering disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, and Piping during project execution.
• Well familiar with HSE and QA/QC procedures, ensuring all activities align with safety and quality standards.
