Job summary

GinCo Cont. Co. LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a leader to helm mechanical MEP engineering and execution on major projects. You will ensure HVAC, plumbing and related building services are designed, coordinated, installed, tested and handed over in line with approved requirements.

You will manage design coordination, review drawings and submittals, resolve clashes and lead multi-disciplinary teams, with UAE/GCC project experience and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15–20+ years of mechanical MEP experience with technical management responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, building services and MEP coordination.
• Proven UAE/GCC project experience.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.

Job purpose: Lead mechanical MEP engineering and execution, ensuring systems are designed, coordinated, installed, tested and commissioned in accordance with approved project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical MEP engineering, site execution and technical teams.

• Oversee HVAC, ventilation, chilled-water, plumbing and associated mechanical systems as applicable to the project.

• Review design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals and technical specifications.

• Manage design coordination, clash resolution and value engineering.

• Coordinate with electrical, civil, structural, consultant and subcontractor teams.

• Monitor technical submissions, approvals, testing, commissioning and handover.

• Resolve complex engineering issues and support project planning and resource management.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 15–20+ years of mechanical MEP experience, including technical management responsibilities.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, building services and MEP coordination.

• Proven UAE/GCC project experience.

• Strong leadership, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
