Job summary

Confidential Company seeks a Senior Technical Engineer Fit-out Factory Joinery to translate interior architectural designs into precise machine-ready production data. You will lead the creation of detailed shop drawings, BOMs, and cutting lists, while coordinating across disciplines to prevent clashes before fabrication.

The role also focuses on design coordination, value engineering, and mentoring junior draftsmen on joinery standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering related field required or equivalent
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in technical/project controls
• Experience in fit-out manufacturing, joinery, modular construction or interior production factories is an advantage
• UAE/GCC fit-out experience mandatory

Responsibilities

• Detail Engineering Production Drawings: Develop detailed shop drawings, BOMs, cutting lists and CAD/CAM/CNC-ready files.
• Design Coordination Clash Detection: Review consultant drawings to identify clashes and tolerance gaps before fabrication.
• Factory Support Value Engineering: Propose cost-saving manufacturing improvements and optimize material usage.
• Technical Guidance: Mentor junior draftsmen and detailers on joinery standards and drafting efficiency
