Job summary

VizioTek Technology Systems in Abu Dhabi seeks a Technical Manager to own the AV & ELV technical scope, from pre-sales design through to installation, commissioning and handover. You will act as the technical authority for the sales team and clients, ensuring systems meet specifications.

You will lead design reviews, select equipment, supervise the installation team, and drive on-site testing while ensuring compliance with UAE authority standards and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communications Engineering (or equivalent).
• 7+ years in AV and ELV systems with at least 3 years in a technical lead or management role.
• Proven UAE project experience with Abu Dhabi authority approvals (ADDC, Civil Defence, Monitoring & Control Centre) preferred.
• Hands-on expertise across major AV/ELV platforms such as Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Bosch, Dante, Barco, Hikvision, Lenel.
• Strong command of AutoCAD, Visio, and design/estimation tools.
• Certifications CTS/CTS-D/CTS-I or manufacturer credentials are a strong advantage.
• Comfortable presenting to clients and consultants; English strong (Arabic advantageous).
• UAE driving license and valid residency or transferable visa.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design of AV and ELV systems: audio, video, control, digital signage, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, PA/voice evacuation integration as required.
• Review client requirements, tender documents, and consultant specifications; produce compliant technical proposals, BOQs, and system schematics.
• Support the sales team in pre-sales — technical presentations, client demos, site surveys, and value engineering.
• Select and validate equipment, evaluate supplier and manufacturer solutions, and maintain technical relationships with vendors.
• Oversee project execution: shop drawings, method statements, installation supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
• Manage and mentor the technical and installation team; allocate resources across concurrent projects.
• Ensure delivery meets project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and UAE/Abu Dhabi authority and code requirements.
• Troubleshoot escalated technical issues on site and oversee after-sales support and maintenance contracts.

About the role

We're looking for a Technical Manager to own the technical side of our AV and ELV business — from pre-sales design and system engineering through to installation, commissioning, and handover.
