Job summary

GINCO Cont. Co. LLC is seeking a seasoned Technical Manager to lead the Technical Department, including Coordinators, Rebar Detailers, and BIM resources, ensuring quality control and timely submissions.

The role focuses on supervising shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and RFIs, while maintaining standards and workflows aligned with consultants, clients, and authorities in the UAE.

Qualifications

• 12–18 years of construction experience
• minimum 5 years in a Technical Manager role
• proven track record with Tier 1 UAE contractors on large-scale projects
• in-depth knowledge of UAE authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi DM, Trakhees)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Technical Department including Technical Coordinators, Rebar Detailers and BIM resources.
• Oversee preparation and approval of shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and RFIs.
• Manage relationships with consultants, client representatives and subcontractors on technical matters.
• Identify and resolve technical issues proactively to minimize impact on construction programme.

Lead and manage the Technical Department including Technical Coordinators Rebar Detailers and BIM resources Oversee preparation and approval of shop drawings method statements material submittals and RFIs Manage relationships with consultants client representatives and subcontractors on technical matters Establish and maintain technical documentation standards workflows and quality control processes Review and approve technical submissions before issue to clients and authorities Identify and resolve technical issues proactively to minimize impact on construction programme Contribute to tender reviews and construction planning from a technical perspective Mentor and develop junior technical staff Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).

• 12–18 years of construction experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Technical Manager role.
• Proven track record with Tier 1 UAE contractors on large-scale building/villa projects.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi DM, Trakhees, etc.).
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
