Job summary

Quest Search & Selection is recruiting for a Technical Head – Joinery & Interior Fit-out to lead a drafting team for a luxury furniture and interiors brand in the UAE. You will own production-quality technical documentation and coordinate across live projects to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

The role requires 6+ years in joinery/fit-out drafting, strong detailing knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD with Revit/SketchUp as a plus.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in joinery/fit-out drafting.
Strong knowledge of joinery detailing, materials & production processes.
Understanding of joinery/fit-out construction standards & specs.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/SketchUp is an advantage.
Ability to review, coordinate & manage technical drawings across a team.
Strong communication and email skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise and allocate workloads across the drafting team.
Prepare and review shop drawings and production drawings for joinery and interior fit-out projects.
Produce accurate, detailed joinery documentation for manufacturing and site execution.
Coordinate with the Operations Manager to align on live projects.
Submit daily progress and productivity reports for the drafting team.
Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely submission of all technical drawings.
