Job summary

Confidential in Dubai seeks a technical leader for Light Commercial Vehicles, covering ICE and EV platforms. You will guide product evaluation, development support, and coordinate with OEMs/principals to meet UAE/GCC requirements.

You will conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires collaboration with Sales, After Sales, and other functions to drive successful product launches and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering or related technical discipline.
5+ years in automotive industry; hands-on experience with Light Commercial Vehicles.
Experience with ICE and EV vehicle platforms preferred.
Experience in product development, market research and benchmarking.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for ICE and EV Light Commercial Vehicles across the lifecycle.
Evaluate and develop new vehicle models and specs based on market needs.
Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking on specs, tech, and position.
Coordinate with OEMs/principals and suppliers on specs and improvements.
Support product homologation, testing and regulatory compliance in UAE/GCC.
Prepare technical reports and recommendations for management.
Support training for internal Sales and After Sales on new products.
