Job summary

LanceSoft Middle East is seeking a Technical Lead – DevSecOps to guide secure, scalable Kubernetes infrastructure, including Rancher-based clusters, RKE2, and GPU Operator deployment. The role emphasizes automation, reliability, and secure container orchestration across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.

Job Title: Technical Lead – DevSecOps

Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – DevSecOps to lead the design, implementation, automation, and operational management of secure, scalable Kubernetes-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes troubleshooting, Rancher management, RKE2, GPU Operator deployment, CI/CD automation, GitOps, and Istio service mesh.

The candidate will be responsible for driving DevSecOps best practices, improving platform reliability, implementing automation, and ensuring secure and efficient container orchestration across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, configuration, and management of Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident resolution for Kubernetes clusters, workloads, networking, storage, and resource utilization.
• Manage and configure Rancher, including cluster provisioning, registration, access control, monitoring, and lifecycle operations.
• Implement, configure, and maintain RKE2 Kubernetes clusters for secure and production-grade environments.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, architecture, troubleshooting, and production operations.
• Practical experience in Rancher management, setup, configuration, and cluster lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of RKE2 installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying and managing NVIDIA GPU Operator on Kubernetes, preferably on RKE2.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of GitOps principles and tools such as Argo CD or Flux.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant hands-on experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Kubernetes engineering, or platform engineering.
• Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKS, or CKAD are an advantage.

Key Shortlisting Criteria

Candidates should be prioritized based on the following:

• Kubernetes troubleshooting: Strong hands-on experience investigating and resolving complex cluster, pod, networking, storage, and workload issues.
• Rancher and RKE2: Practical experience setting up and managing Rancher and operating RKE2 Kubernetes clusters.
• GPU Operator: Demonstrated experience deploying and troubleshooting NVIDIA GPU Operator on RKE2 or comparable Kubernetes environments.
• CI/CD and GitOps: Experience implementing automated deployment pipelines and GitOps
