Job summary

LanceSoft Middle East in Dubai seeks a Technical Lead - DevSecOps to drive production Kubernetes environments and build secure, scalable infrastructure. This role demands deep hands-on expertise across Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2, and related tooling, with strong scripting and automation skills.

A 12-month contract with extension is offered. The candidate will lead technical teams, implement GitOps workflows, manage Istio service mesh, and ensure container security, monitoring, and observability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/IT/Engineering.
• Significant hands-on experience in DevOps/DevSecOps, Kubernetes engineering, or platform engineering.
• Experience leading technical teams or driving complex infrastructure implementations.
• Experience supporting production-grade Kubernetes environments and resolving complex issues.
• Certifications such as CKA, CKS or CKAD are advantageous.

Title: "Technical Lead - DevSecOps"

Duration: 12 months Contract with possible extension

Location: Dubai

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, architecture, troubleshooting, and production operations.
• Practical experience in Rancher management, setup, configuration, and cluster lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of RKE2 installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying and managing NVIDIA GPU Operator on Kubernetes, preferably on RKE2.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of GitOps principles and tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Experience with Istio service mesh configuration, traffic routing, mTLS, security policies, and observability.
• Knowledge of container technologies, including Docker, containerd, and Kubernetes networking.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices, container security, vulnerability scanning, and infrastructure security.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the EFK/ELK stack.
• Familiarity with Linux administration, networking, DNS, ingress controllers, storage, and TLS certificates.
