Job summary

Amana Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Engineer to support engineering decisions and project delivery. The role focuses on developing detailed technical designs, reviewing specifications, and coordinating with the BIM team for timely model updates.

You will lead shop drawings on site and oversee preparation of bid packages, while updating procurement on addenda and submittals. Collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders is essential to ensure design

Responsibilities

• Perform basic calculations and analysis to support engineering decisions
• Maintain organized records and documentation for engineering projects
• Develop and review detailed technical designs and specifications for construction projects
• Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to design specifications and standards
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to engineering activities
• Oversee and guide Jr Technical Engineers and provide technical support as needed
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure integrated project delivery
• Review and approve engineering designs documentation and reports
• Coordination with BIM team for timely updating of model
• Lead the Shop drawings preparation and issuance of SFC drawings to site
• Preparing bid package for material and sub-contractor As Applicable
• Updating procurement team for any addendum required for bid package
• Review material submittal amp Pre-Qualification for Engineering aspects
