Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a seasoned software engineer to contribute to complex and critical components across projects. You will write, test, and debug code, and collaborate in design reviews to meet evolving requirements.

You'll provide technical expertise, solve challenging problems, mentor junior teammates, and participate in defining software specifications while adopting new technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.

Essential Job Functions

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
• Strong programming and debugging skills
• Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good team collaboration and communication abilities
• Willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges Other Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a related field is a plus
• Relevant certifications or training a plus
