Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Software Engineer I to assist in developing software solutions and debugging under the guidance of senior teammates.

You will document requirements, diagnose production issues, and grow through training and mentoring while staying current with emerging technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3 years of relevant software engineering experience, incl. at least 1 year in a similar role.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development methodologies.
• Basic coding and debugging skills; willingness to learn.

Assist in the development of software solutions by writing testing and debugging with team members to meet project goals taking direction from senior team and grow within the software engineering field by actively participating in training and mentoring in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues under the guidance of senior the documentation of software requirements and on diagnosing and resolving production issues with support from senior team updated on emerging technologies and best practices seeking opportunities for professional to knowledge sharing and learning within the team.
