Job summary

Etihad Airways seeks a Technology Supplier & Cost Management Specialist to govern technology spend, manage suppliers, and deliver measurable cost optimization across software, cloud, and infrastructure portfolios. You will build financial models, run commercial evaluations, and partner with Technology, Finance, Procurement, and Legal to optimize value.

The role requires strong financial acumen, advanced analytics, and experience negotiating with technology vendors in a large enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Technology Finance, IT Commercial Management, Vendor Management, Strategic Sourcing, or related disciplines.
• Proven track record managing significant technology spend portfolios and delivering cost optimization outcomes.
• Experience in large enterprise environments with technology procurement, software licensing, cloud and infra cost management.

Responsibilities

• Drive governance of technology expenditure across software, cloud, infrastructure, telecom, managed services, and professional services.
• Develop spend forecasts, financial models, dashboards, and executive reporting for decision-making and budgeting.
• Partner with Technology and Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation models.
• Build business cases with TCO, ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback analysis for tech investments.
• Lead commercial negotiations, renewals, and supplier management to optimize value.
• Establish supplier governance and conduct regular performance reviews for service delivery and cost optimization.
• Identify and execute cost optimization initiatives across software licensing, cloud, infra, and workforce expenditure.
• Maintain a technology savings portfolio and ensure realized benefits.
• Use data analytics to identify spend anomalies and risks, driving efficiencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic sourcing and data-driven investment decisions.
