Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Statistics, OR Economics (MBA advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years relevant airline pricing experience.
• Strong experience with Airnguru, ATPCO and Infare.
• Deep understanding of fare construction, rules, routings, seasonality, and ATPCO categories.
• Experience in airline commercial environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficient in Python, R, Tableau, Databricks or equivalent analytics tools.
• Cloud exposure to Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience with pricing transformation or product enhancement initiatives.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning or advanced analytics.

Pricing is one of the most powerful levers in airline commercial performance.

As Business Solutions Manager – Pricing, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming the technology, systems and analytical capabilities that support pricing decisions across Etihad’s expanding global network.

Working within the Solutions & Innovation team, you’ll partner with Commercial, Revenue Management and Technology leaders to deliver smarter pricing solutions, improve automation and introduce new capabilities that enable faster, more informed commercial decisions.

This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic pricing capability at one of the world’s fastest-growing airlines while working on cutting-edge commercial technologies and large-scale transformation initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead innovation initiatives focused on airline pricing systems and commercial optimization.
• Drive continuous improvement of pricing processes through automation, analytics and emerging technologies.
• Design and implement proof-of-concepts before transitioning successful initiatives into enterprise solutions.
• Act as the business owner for pricing platforms, ensuring they continue to support evolving commercial strategies.
• Partner with Pricing, Revenue Management, Commercial, Digital and Technology teams to define future system capability and product roadmaps.
• Lead system enhancements, testing and production releases for pricing platforms.
• Monitor pricing performance, system utilization and user behavior, identifying opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.
• Manage pricing system calibration and ensure pricing models remain aligned with business strategy.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, governance and system performance.
• Translate technical solutions into meaningful commercial value for business stakeholders.
• Lead the governance and evolution of Pricing Solutions platforms, driving fare management, pricing automation, process optimization, and systems enhancements to improve efficiency, revenue performance, and user adoption
• Manage data governance across Pricing Solutions platforms, ensuring accurate fare, demand, and optimization data to support pricing automation, forecasting a revenue performance

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking an experienced airline pricing professional who enjoys improving systems as much as developing commercial strategies.

You’ll bring deep pricing knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to bridge business and technology teams to deliver meaningful commercial outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or related discipline (MBA advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience within the airline industry.
• Strong experience using Airnguru, ATPCO and Infare.
• Excellent understanding of airline pricing concepts including fare construction, rules, routings, seasonality and ATPCO categories.
• Experience working within airline commercial environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver projects within complex operational environments.
• Experience with Python, R, Tableau, Databricks or equivalent analytical tools.
• Cloud platform exposure including Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience delivering pricing transformation or product enhancement initiatives.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning or advanced commercial analytics.
