Job summary

ADIB in Abu Dhabi seeks a Team Leader for the Tawtheeq hub to oversee branch enquiries related to GCD, AML, and RIM relationships. The role focuses on compliance, performance, and providing business insight to elevate hub productivity.

The incumbent will manage daily hub activities, deliver MIS reports, develop KPI formats, and coordinate with regulators and stakeholders to strengthen risk controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Understanding of GCD and compliance regulations for compliance officers.
• Knowledge of ADIB’s Retail Operational Policies & Procedures.
• Fair knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations & risks.
• Strong AML regulations knowledge in UAE from Central Bank and regulators.
• Analytical and research skills to define and solve problems.
• Knowledge of service standards in banking.
• Experience with MIS and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of Tawtheeq hub.
• Ensure deadlines are met and response times align with targets.
• Handle escalations for the team.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of MIS reports.
• Develop and maintain MIS formats, templates and KPI.
• Support stakeholders and align efforts to needs.
• Update policies and procedures per regulatory changes.
• Prepare monthly/ quarterly reports.
• Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in information systems.
• Contribute to business planning.
• Create and maintain issue logs and updates.

Role: Team Leader - Tawtheeq

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose

The Tawtheq Team Leader role is to manage the Tawtheeq hub which acts as focal point for Branch Network to handle all the enquiries related to GCD, AML, RIM relationships, and other compliance enquiry. Also actively provides business insight, reviews and reports to the Management to elevate the overall performance and productivity of Branch Network

Key Accountabilities of the role

Manage day-to-day activities of Tawtheeq hub

• Ensure the Team is meeting the set deadline and doesn’t exceed process and UAECB response TAT
• Handle Escalation enquires for the team
• Ensuring accuracy, timeliness and relevance ofMIS generated reports
• Act as responsible owner for the centralized MIS tracker
• Develop new MIS formats/templates/KPI for management and internal communication.
• Support and align efforts to meet stakeholders need.
• Assist in updating and reviewing bank policies and procedures based on regulatory change, internal audits and examination by regulatory agencies
• Conduct monthly/ Quarterly to present issues and reports
• Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in information systems and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of action plans.
• Prepares analytical study of team performance.
• To contribute to the business planning.
• Create and maintain issue logs, summaries and updates
• To work constructively and cooperatively with other members of the team.
• Complete all the required AML, compliance, and other training assigned
• Perform other duties as and when assigned.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role
