Job summary

Temu in Dubai is seeking an experienced Warehouse Shift Lead to oversee daily operations, assign tasks, monitor real-time progress, and ensure safety compliance.

You will optimize picking, packing and inbound flow, manage scheduling and attendance, enforce 5S and housekeeping, and escalate issues to supervisors while maintaining accurate performance records. This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced ecommerce warehouse.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in e-commerce or logistics warehouse, with at least 1 year as a team lead/shift lead.
• Hands-on familiarity with picking, packing, inbound, and cycle count processes.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pre-shift huddles and task assignments to meet targets and SLA.
• Monitor real-time progress of picking, packing, and inbound; reallocate manpower to meet SLA.
• Handle floor exceptions (stockouts, mis-picks, equipment breakdowns); escalate to Supervisor as needed.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping; ensure proper slotting and clear aisles.
• Manage scheduling, attendance, task allocation, and associate performance records.
• Enforce warehouse safety rules (PPE, forklift zones, racking safety); address violations promptly.

Job description

1.Daily pre-shift huddle: assign tasks, set targets, reinforce safety, ensure everyone understands daily volume and priorities.

2.Real-time monitoring of picking, packing, and inbound progress and quality; dynamically reallocate manpower to meet SLA.

3.Handle floor exceptions:stockouts, mis-picks, equipment breakdowns, system issues — respond immediately and escalate to Supervisor.

4.Ensure 5S and housekeeping in your area — correct slotting, clear aisles, organized floor.

5. Manage scheduling, attendance, task allocation, and performance records for the associates. 6.Enforce warehouse safety rules (PPE, forklift zones, racking safety, emergency exits); correct violations immediately,training and certifications.
