Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Team Lead HSE to be based in Abu Dhabi for an offshore PMC project. You will lead HSE planning and execution across offshore sites, develop policies, conduct audits, and mentor HSE officers and engineers.

Position requires 15–18+ years in HSE with offshore leadership 5–8+ years, offshore certifications (BOSIET, HUET) and NEBOSH IGC, and proven experience on mega EPC offshore projects. Right to work in UAE is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 15–18+ years of HSE experience in oil & gas with 5–8+ years offshore leadership.
• Offshore certifications (BOSIET, HUET) and NEBOSH IGC or equivalent mandatory.
• Experience managing HSE for mega EPC projects, shutdowns and brownfield upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE planning and execution across offshore sites, including artificial islands, platforms, and subsea systems.
• Develop and implement HSE policies, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are tracked and closed.
• Interface with client representatives, regulatory bodies, and EPC contractors to ensure alignment with project HSE goals.
• Mentor and supervise HSE officers and engineers, fostering a proactive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA, NEBOSH).

• Must have experience in managing all Health, Safety, and Environment activities for offshore oil and gas construction
• Proven track record in managing HSE for mega EPC projects, shutdowns, and brownfield upgrades
• PMC experience will be preferred
• Previous experience in the ADNOC Offshore projects in the similar role would be an added advantage
