Penspen is urgently hiring a Senior HSE Engineer (Project - Offshore) for an offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi. You will lead HSE across all phases, drive risk assessments, emergency planning, training, and performance reporting.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or Environmental Sciences with 15–18+ years of offshore experience; NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor credentials are preferred, and ADNOC Offshore exposure is advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, or Environmental Sciences.
• Minimum 15 to 18+ years of experience, with at least 5 years offshore experience.
• Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor (preferred).
• Preferred PMC/EPC background experience.
• ADNOC Offshore experience is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) aspects of offshore projects, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture across all project phases.
• Develop and implement project-specific HSE plans, procedures, and risk management strategies.
• Conduct hazard identification (HAZID), risk assessments, and safety studies for offshore construction and operations
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, OHSAS, API, IMO), and company HSE policies
• Supervise offshore HSE activities during construction, installation, and commissioning
• Organize HSE induction, training, and competency programs for offshore personnel
• Coordinate with construction, mechanical, electrical, and marine teams to ensure safe execution of activities
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for offshore operations
• Lead emergency drills and evaluate effectiveness of response procedures
• Prepare HSE performance reports, KPIs, and dashboards for management review
• Maintain records of audits, inspections, and incident investigations

• Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor (preferred)
• Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background.
• Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
