Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with student learning needs, classroom routines, and daily academic tasks.
• Assist in small group activities inside and outside the classroom as directed by the teacher.
• Prepare worksheets, photocopy documents, organize teaching materials, and tidy classroom resources.
• Help create, mount, and maintain classroom displays that support student engagement and learning.
• Supervise students during short teacher absences, emergency cover, planned breaks, or release time.
• Organize stock cupboards, distribute new supplies, and maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.
• Assist younger students with toilet needs, changing, and basic care when required.
• Support literacy, numeracy, phonics, and other curriculum‑related classroom activities.
• Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, confidentiality standards, and professional conduct requirements.
• Attend staff meetings, support school committees, and complete additional duties assigned by line managers or supervisors.

Ideal Profile

• High School Certificate, Bachelor's degree in Education, or qualification in another relevant discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar classroom support role.
• Good general education with strong ability in English and Mathematics.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work well with children, teachers, parents, and school leadership teams.
• Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple classroom tasks.
• Calm, patient, and professional approach when working under pressure.
