Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging mathematics lessons that support curriculum goals and student achievement
• Organise classroom resources and create a positive and stimulating learning environment
• Plan, prepare, and present lessons for students across the full ability range within the class
• Motivate students through enthusiastic and imaginative teaching approaches
• Observe and assess student progress in line with school assessment procedures
• Use Target Tracker and assessment data to guide lesson planning, intervention, and academic support
• Provide feedback to parents and carers during Parent Teacher Conferences and school meetings
• Work closely with colleagues and specialist professionals to support student development
• Maintain strong classroom discipline in line with the school behaviour policy
• Act as a positive role model and promote independence, confidence, and student well-being

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related subject with a recognised teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of teaching experience in Mathematics
• Previous experience working with students where English is not their first language is preferred
• Strong passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
• Professional attitude with strong safeguarding awareness and student well-being focus
• Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities
• Positive and solution-focused mindset with excellent teamwork skills
• Valid enhanced DBS check or police clearance required
