Job summary

Y-Axis is seeking an Early Years educator for a Dubai nursery to support children's safety and holistic development. The role involves delivering planned learning activities, promoting independent learning and ensuring high standards of care within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

Candidates should have a university degree in Early Childhood / Education or a certified vocational certificate (Level III or Cache Level 3) and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood / Education or related field.
• Certified vocational certificate in care and education of early childhood children (Level III) or Cache Level 3 with at least two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Undertake activities with all children to ensure their safety and development.
• Carry out planned educational activities and promote independent learning.
• Provide high standard of care and educate within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Encourage inclusion and adapt activities to meet diverse needs.
• Monitor, assess and record children’s development using the Learning and Development Profile Book.
• Ensure welfare, health, safety and security of all children; contribute to reports on progression.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood / Education

Certified vocational certificate in the care and education of early childhood children (Level III)

Cache Level 3 in care and education of early childhood children

Job description

• Undertaking activities with all children to ensure their safety and facilitate their physical, emotional and educational development.
• Carry out planned educational activities and programs of learning whilst promoting independent learning
• To provide a high standard of care and educate working within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Encourage acceptance and inclusion of all children and use appropriate skills to adapt activities necessary to meet the needs of all students
• To monitor, assess and record children’s individual needs with the Learning and Development Profile Book
• To be responsible for the care, welfare, health and safety and security of all children within the Nursery. To participate in assessments of and preparing reports on children’s work and development
• Others as assigned by the management

What we are looking for:

• University degree in Early Childhood / Education or other specialization provided that it is accompanied by a certified vocational certificate in the care and education of early childhood children (level III). Or a high school diploma provided that they are combined with a certified vocational certificate in the care and education of early childhood children (Cache Level 3) with at least two years of experience in the care or education of children
• Currently residing in Dubai or have plans to relocate to Dubai, regardless of job opportunities with us is preferred
