Job summary

Emirates British Nursery in Dubai seeks qualified nursery educators to deliver care and education under the EYFS framework. You will plan activities, monitor development, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for young children.

Candidates must have a degree in Early Childhood Education or CACHE Level 3 with experience, English as a first language, and be based in or willing to relocate to Dubai. GMG affiliation noted.

Qualifications

• University degree in Early Childhood / Education or equivalent with a vocational certificate in early childhood care.
• Or a high school diploma combined with a certified Level 3 vocational certificate and 2 years of childcare/education experience.
• Native-level proficiency in English.
• Currently residing in Dubai or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Undertake activities with all children to support safety and development.
• Carry out planned educational activities promoting independent learning.
• Provide high standard of care within the EYFS framework.
• Encourage inclusion and adapt activities to meet all needs.
• Monitor, assess and record children’s development in the Learning and Development Profile Book.
• Ensure welfare, health, safety and security of all children.
• Participate in assessments and preparation of reports on children’s progress.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Core Responsibilities

• Undertaking activities with all children to ensure their safety and facilitate their physical, emotional and educational development.
• Carry out planned educational activities and programs of learning whilst promoting independent learning.
• To provide a high standard of care and educate working within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Encourage acceptance and inclusion of all children and use appropriate skills to adapt activities necessary to meet the needs of all students.
• To monitor, assess and record children’s individual needs with the Learning and Development Profile Book.
• To be responsible for the care, welfare, health and safety and security of all children within the Nursery.
• To participate in assessments of and preparing reports on children’s work and development.
• Others as assigned by the management.

What we are looking for

• University degree in Early Childhood / Education or other specialization provided that it is accompanied by a certified vocational certificate in the care and education of early childhood children (level III).
• Or a high school diploma provided that they are combined with a certified vocational certificate in the care and education of early childhood children (Cache Level 3) with at least two years of experience in the care or education of children.
• Must have a native-level proficiency in English.
• Currently residing in Dubai or have plans to relocate to Dubai, regardless of job opportunities with us is preferred.
