Job summary

EY UAE is seeking a Tax Quality Manager in Dubai/Abu Dhabi to support the MENA Tax Quality function. You will lead diverse quality and risk-management initiatives, provide timely advice to client teams, and collaborate with GC’s Office and Risk Management.

You will drive policy reviews, training, and process improvements across projects while leveraging technology. The role requires strong English, a legal/risk background, and 7+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• To qualify for the role, you must have a university degree or professional qualification in legal and risk-management-related disciplines.
• 7+ years of related work experience in quality, legal, compliance, risk management, or internal audit functions.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• IT-literate and comfortable using technology, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate advice to client teams on quality, compliance, or risk-management matters.
• Review client and engagement acceptance assessments and collaborate toward approvals.
• Conduct policy and guidance reviews and produce guidance on matters of concern.
• Create and develop processes and protocols for quality and risk-management.
• Deliver training to the business.
• Conduct contract reviews from a risk perspective and assist in negotiations.
• Lead and manage short- and long-term projects on demand.
• Support change management initiatives and guide stakeholders through change.
• Pursue efficiencies in process design or redesign leveraging technology and AI.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders.
