Job summary

EY in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Manager for the MENA Tax - Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team to lead complex engagements and contribute to the growth of EY's GCR practice. You will manage client compliance and reporting needs, establish and strengthen client relationships, and ensure delivery of high-quality services.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or related fields.
• MBA, master’s or other advanced degree and/or professional qualifications (CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent).
• A very strong knowledge and minimum of 5 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules/regulations, ideally within a large professional services firm.
• A strong track record of managerial, organizational, and project management experience.

• Lead complex engagements and manage day-to-day client engagements in tax services.
• Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients and ensure high-quality service.
• Put in place standardized processes, monitor progress and deliverables, identify risks, and drive performance-improvement solutions.
• Coach and counsel junior team members to develop, and ensure adherence to Tax Quality guidelines.
