Job summary

Dicetek LLC in Dubai seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer to design, provision, and manage compliant VM environments, Active Directory, and DB services. You will implement secure configurations, migrate existing services, and support application deployment.

This role covers DR planning, vulnerability remediation, SIEM/PAM setup, and go-live readiness, with hands-on delivery and customer handoffs. A strong background in telecom, aerospace, or cybersecurity is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Certifications such as Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or related technical certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience in industries such as telecommunications, aerospace, or cybersecurity will give candidates a competitive edge.

Responsibilities

• Provision and configure compliant VM environments with Golden Image Templates.
• Migrate Active Directory and DB services, secure systems and manage virtual appliances.
• Handover to customers for application installation and vulnerability remediation.
• Set up DR environments, perform drills, and ensure go-live readiness.
• Implement SIEM, PAM, and monitoring/logging connectivity.

Main Site activities

1. Provisioning & Configuring Apps Environments Compliant Virtual Machine (VMs)

a.Setup the VM with the latest OS version – Golden Image Template

b.Provision New VM’S of existing List of the inventory

i.Including Active Directory and DB Server (Prod Cluster, Dev Cluster)

1. Migration of Active Directory Services, DB Services and Existing Virtual Appliances

2. Apply Security Hardening

3. Handover to customers for Application installation

4. Fix vulnerability

5. File and Block Storage Setup Services

6. SIEM, PAM and Monitoring/logging Services Setup (Integration and connectivity)

7. Schedule and execute the cutover

Go Live and Hypercare

1. Support in Cloud Security & Network Configuration:

2. Setup the VM with the latest OS version – Golden Image Template

3. Setup DR to protect up to VM’S

i.Including Active Directory and DR Active Node for DB Clusters

1. Apply Security Hardening

2. Handover to customers for Application installation

3. Fix vulnerability

4. Schedule and execute the cutover

5. Go Live and Hypercare

6. Provisioning & Configuring DR APPs VMs

Desired Candidate Profile
