Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi seeks a Sustainability Lead / ESG Consultant to drive ESG strategy, environmental performance, and compliance across projects. You will develop and implement sustainability programs, coordinate with teams, and ensure reporting aligns with international standards.

The role requires a degree in a related field, proven ESG experience, and strong stakeholder management; LEED/GBI/BREEAM or GRI knowledge a plus, with the ability to influence across construction and property

Qualifications

• Degree in sustainability or related field.
• Experience in sustainability, ESG, or environmental management.
• Knowledge of ESG frameworks and standards.
• Certifications such as LEED/GBI/BREEAM/GRI are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability and ESG strategies.
• Conduct ESG assessments, environmental reviews, and sustainability reporting.
• Monitor carbon emissions, energy, water, waste, and resource performance.
• Support green building, energy efficiency, and sustainable design initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and ESG requirements.
• Develop ESG targets, KPIs, action plans, and performance reports.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Identify sustainability risks and recommend improvement measures.
• Support ESG disclosures, audits, certifications, and stakeholder reporting.
