Job summary
AECOM seeks a Sustainability Engineer in Abu Dhabi to coordinate with local authorities, contribute to ESG reporting, and develop sustainability plans. The role requires a strong understanding of Estidama and LEED requirements, plus excellent communication and coordination with stakeholders.
The candidate will implement Estidama/LEED design requirements during construction, manage audits, and provide regular compliance reports to clients and authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field with sustainability focus.
- Experience implementing Estidama/LEED and ESG reporting.
- Strong communication and coordination with authorities and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in sustainability software and tools.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with ADM and EAD Authorities to implement local guidelines on site.
- Contribute to ESG reporting and develop plans to minimize emissions.
- Prepare sustainability plans including implementation strategies and procurement plans.
- Implement Estidama/LEED design requirements during construction via submittals and drawings.
- Act as Environmental and Sustainability representative in weekly meetings with clients and authorities.
- Prepare Estidama/LEED audit reports for submission.
- Provide monthly/weekly reports on Estidama/LEED compliance and trackers.
- Coordinate with all project traders, stakeholders, subcontractors for environmental compliance.
