Job summary

Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking a Supply Chain Principal Lead for the Dubai Campus to provide professional and operational delivery across the supply chain functions. You will manage receiving, storage, inventory control, and inter-campus transfers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely service.

This role requires stakeholder coordination and continuous improvement across campuses including Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline relevant to the role.
• 1
• Postgraduate qualification preferred for leadership roles.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Arabic is an advantage.
• Proficiency in enterprise systems analytics reporting and productivity tools.
• Experience in a large regulated government education or multi-site organization is required.
• Lean Six Sigma TPM experience is required.
• E-Commerce warehouse management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, inspection, storage, issuing, transfer and return of inventory across campuses.
• Maintain accurate stock records, item masters, locations, and system transactions.
• Own and maintain the inventory stock model including safety stock and replenishment parameters.
• Plan and conduct cycle counts and physical inventory verification.
• Coordinate replenishment with procurement, suppliers, and end users.
• Ensure safe storage, labeling, and preservation of inventory.
• Prepare inventory and logistics dashboards covering availability and service levels.
• Monitor warehouse capacity and optimize space across campuses.
• Coordinate with procurement, campuses and end users on delivery dates.
• Support continuity planning for critical supplies.

Position Summary

Provide professional and operational delivery for Supply Chain ensuring that assigned transactions analyses records system activities and stakeholder requirements are completed accurately on time and in accordance with approved policies procedures controls and service standards The role resolves issues maintains reliable evidence and data and contributes to compliant service delivery informed decision-making and continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate receiving inspection storage issuing transfer and return of institutional materials and supplies between Dubai Sharjah and Abu Dhabi warehouses Maintain accurate stock records item masters locations units of measure batch or serial information expiry dates and system transactions Own and continuously maintain the inventory stock model including inventory classification minimum maximum levels safety stock reorder points and replenishment parameters balancing availability service levels and inventory holding Plan and conduct cycle counts and physical inventory verification and investigate and reconcile variances Coordinate replenishment requirements and delivery schedules with Procurement suppliers internal warehouse campuses and end users Ensure safe secure and appropriate storage handling labelling segregation and preservation of inventory Manage documentation for goods receipt inspection acceptance issuance transfer return disposal and write-off Investigate damaged missing incorrect expired or delayed stock and coordinate corrective action Prepare inventory and logistics dashboards covering availability accuracy turnover stockouts ageing and service levels Support continuity planning for critical supplies and improve warehousing inventory and logistics processes Monitor warehouse capacity storage utilization and location allocation and recommend adjustments to support operational requirements and inventory growth Plan and coordinate transportation delivery routes vehicle utilization and shipment schedules across warehouses and campuses monitoring delivery performance cost efficiency and service levels Personal agility in managing the time plan including moving between warehouses and campuses Maintain accurate data records documents systems entries reports analyses and audit trails Coordinate with procurement campuses and end user on delivery expected dates to confirm and plan the warehouse requirements ahead Stakeholder Service amp Collaboration Coordinate with stakeholders respond professionally to requests share knowledge and contribute to team and service outcomes Create or update Inbound warehousing and outbound processes Comply with approved policies procedures controls professional standards and health and safety requirements across warehouses and during transportation Protect information and systems complete required awareness activities and promptly report suspected cyber or information incidents Understand continuity responsibilities participate in exercises or incident response when requested and support recovery actions Prepare backup manual process for operations Identify practical improvements and maintain the knowledge and capability required for effective performance Undertake the above responsibilities and any other duties assigned by the relevant line manager or authorized delegate
