Job summary

Doka Gulf in Dubai seeks a Supply Chain & Operations Manager to lead UAE and Oman operations from its Dubai hub. The role combines demand planning, inventory optimization, and logistics management across a large facility with a rental model and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or operations leadership.
• Experience leading teams and implementing operational improvements.
• Exposure to warehouse, yard, or distribution operations.
• Experience in construction/industrial equipment rental or related industry preferred.
• Strong ERP, Excel, and Power BI skills.
• Excellent English communication and commercial awareness.

• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Commercial, and Finance teams, and support budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning across the supply chain and operations function.

The Context

Doka, a global leader in formwork and scaffolding solutions with 7,000 employees across 60+ countries, is looking for a Supply Chain & Operations Manager to lead its UAE and Oman operations from its Dubai headquarters. Operating from a 50,000 sqm facility combining office, warehouse, and reconditioning operations, Doka Gulf is a strategically significant hub for the company's Middle East and Africa growth.

What The Role Covers

Demand Planning & Inventory Management

You lead demand planning and forecasting for UAE and Oman, own inventory management and safety stock optimization, and actively reduce slow-moving and non-moving inventory. You monitor inventory health and working capital performance as core accountability areas.

Logistics & Material Flow

You manage inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating material flows between local inventory, regional hubs, and Group supply sources. You oversee warehouse and yard operations including receiving, storage, dispatch, return, and reconditioning — a distinctive element given Doka's equipment rental model.

Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

You lead and develop the Warehouse/Yard Manager and operational teams, drive continuous improvement, automation, and digitalization initiatives, and monitor KPIs across inventory, logistics, warehouse productivity, and safety performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

You collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Commercial, and Finance teams, and support budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning across the supply chain and operations function.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or Engineering


• 10 years minimum in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or operations leadership


• Experience managing teams and leading operational improvement initiatives


• Exposure to warehouse, yard, or distribution operations


• Construction, formwork, scaffolding, industrial equipment rental, or related industry experience preferred


• Strong ERP, Excel, and Power BI skills


• Excellent English communication skills with strong commercial awareness
