Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks a Supervisor – Floral Operations to lead and develop the resort's floral team. You will oversee daily operations, ensure quality and cost control of all flower arrangements, and supervise staff to uphold Wynn standards.

Ideal candidates have 3 years in a luxury hotel setting, plus supervisory experience and fluent English. A proactive, creative leader who can manage events and large-scale décor is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a 5-star integrated hotel/resort, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in Commercial Floral and large events is preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Manager – Floral in all floral operations and department alignment.
• Check flower conditions daily and refresh arrangements as needed.
• Supervise daily floral department operations and inventory.
• Train and supervise team members to meet Wynn Al Marjan Island standards.
• Promote health, safety, and a sustainable, re-use/re-cycle culture.

About Wynn Al Marjan Island: Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Supervisor – Floral Operations to join the resort’s Floral Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Manager – Floral in all phases of floral activities and alignment with all activities of the department.
• Consult the Assistant Manager - Floral for approval of any major changes.
• Act on behalf of the Assistant Manager - Floral during his/her absence.
• Check all conditions of all flowers in the front area daily and freshen the flower arrangements when necessary.
• Maintain good quality and cost control on all flower arrangements.
• Ensure that all fresh flowers and floral accessories are properly stored in good condition and stocked adequately.
• Supervise daily operations within the floral department.
• Conduct regular inventory of flowers, vases and accessories items.
• Report any irregularities found within the department.
• Make suggestions for improvement of operation.
• Accept any other duties when assigned by the Assistant Manager
• Train and supervise Team Members to create team spirit and improve standards of arranging flower.
• Assist the Assistant Manager with training to the team members to ensure job skills are constantly improved and developed in accordance with the established training plan.
• Always check the grooming of all Team Members to ensure they are in compliance with the established Wynn Al Marjan Island standards.
• Promote a work environment where employees feel valued, appreciated, involved and safe.
• Ensure that health and safety standards are closely monitored and constantly improved to avoid any health or injury hazards occurring from malpractices.
• Proactively participate in the hotel recycling program and promote a strict discipline to reduce, re‑use and re‑cycle wherever possible and appropriate.

About You

• Requires 3 years’ experience in a 5-star integrated hotel/resort, with 2 years in supervisory role.
• Previous experience in Commercial Floral is preferrable.
• Previous experience in large events, big-scale weddings, and shows is preferred.
• Communication – Fluent in English.
• Familiar with Western, Asian, and Middle Eastern flower design.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Presentable and is an excellent communicator and supervising team.
• Good in established leadership skills.
• Proactive, Creative, and Innovative.
• Physically fit.
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
