Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced structural inspector to perform visual inspections of structural components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.

Role includes non‑destructive testing (UT and MPT), verification of material certifications and traceability for steel, concrete, and welding consumables, witnessing welding procedures and welder qualifications, and ensuring proper surface preparation before painting or coating.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of structural components per drawings and specs.
• Carry out non‑destructive testing (UT, MPT) to identify defects.
• Verify material certifications and traceability for steel, concrete, welding consumables.
• Witness welding procedures and welder qualifications to ensure adherence to methods.
• Inspect dimensions, alignment, and surface prep before painting or coating.
• Monitor concrete pouring and curing: slump, temperature, formwork integrity.
