- Review structural drawings, specifications, and building code requirements before execution
- Inspect foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, staircases, and structural steel works
- Verify reinforcement placement, alignment, bar spacing, and formwork accuracy
- Monitor concrete pouring, compaction, finishing, curing, and testing activities
- Witness slump tests, cube sampling, and verify documentation of concrete test results
- Ensure all materials used meet approved material submittals and project specifications
- Inspect waterproofing, expansion joints, grouting, and structural repair works
- Monitor steel fabrication and erection including welding, bolting, alignment, and coating
- Verify embedments, anchor bolts, and inserts prior to concrete casting
- Monitor post-tensioning and prestressing works where applicable
- Ensure temporary supports, scaffolding, and formworks are safe and as per approved systems
- Coordinate with Architectural, MEP, and other inspectors for interface resolution
- Identify, record, and follow up on NCRs and site observations
- Maintain comprehensive daily inspection records and photo documentation
- Review and sign Work Inspection Requests for completed structural elements
- Ensure contractor compliance with method statements, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures
- Support RE and Structural Engineer in resolving technical site issues
- Conduct pre-concrete and post-concrete inspections and ensure approvals before work continuation
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards during structural activities
- Review as‑built drawings and verify all structural elements before handover
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of structural inspection experience
- Professional Engineer license preferred
- Certified Building Inspector credentials advantageous
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, building structures, and methods
- Familiarity with UAE codes and international building standards
- Ability to read and interpret structural blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in structural software and MS Office
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Organized and able to work effectively in fast‑paced environments
- Willingness to work on‑site and travel within the UAE
