Job summary

Sobha Constructions LLC is seeking a Draughtsman Engineer to prepare detailed AutoCAD and Revit drawings for architectural and structural works in Dubai. You will develop 2D drawings and 3D BIM models, coordinate with Architects, Structural and MEP teams, and ensure drawings meet project standards.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering, with 3–8 years of related experience, and GCC/UAE project exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering or related discipline.
• Certification in AutoCAD and Revit will be an added advantage.
• Experience 3 to 8 years in construction, engineering, or architectural drafting.
• Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or large-scale building projects preferred.
• GCC/UAE construction experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and modeling using AutoCAD and Revit to prepare accurate drawings.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, coordinated drawings, as-built drawings, and construction documentation.
• Develop 2D drawings and 3D BIM models based on design and project requirements.
• Create plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings for architectural and structural works.
• Modify and update drawings per project revisions and site requirements.
• Coordinate with Architects, Structural Engineers, MEP engineers, and project teams for accuracy and clash-free designs.
• Review design inputs to ensure compliance with specifications and standards; provide clarifications as needed.
• BIM coordination meetings, design review sessions, and clash detection activities.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision control; ensure proper submission per quality procedures.
• Archive and manage project documentation systematically.
