Job summary

Staff Connect Information Technology Consultants in Dubai seeks a Structural Draftsman to prepare detailed RCC and steel drawings for construction projects. The role requires a civil engineering diploma or degree, 3+ years of drafting experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD; STAAD Pro knowledge is a plus.

You will coordinate with engineers, architects and MEP teams and ensure compliance with standards and authority submissions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience as a Structural Draftsman.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of STAAD Pro is a plus.
• Strong RCC and structural steel detailing understanding.
• Experience preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement detailing.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to prepare detailed structural drawings for RCC and steel structure projects

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural shop drawings based on design and engineering requirements
• Draft RCC and steel structure drawings for construction projects
• Prepare Rebar Detailing and Bar Bending Schedules
• BBS
• Develop foundation column beam slab and steel structure drawings
• Coordinate with Structural Engineers Architects and MEP teams to resolve design and construction issues
• Revise and update drawings based on engineer comments and site requirements
• Prepare drawings for authority submissions and approvals
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications standards and local regulations
• Maintain drawing records revisions and documentation control

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience as a Structural Draftsman.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of STAAD Pro and structural design concepts.
• Strong knowledge of RCC and Structural Steel detailing.
• Experience preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement detailing.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, engineering standards, and drafting practices.
