Job summary

MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C is seeking a committed Strength & Conditioning Coach in Dubai to support players’ physical prep, performance, recovery, and injury prevention.

Lead conditioning sessions three evenings weekly, assess performance, and tailor gym programs for cricket players and team-sport athletes. UAE residence visa required; Dubai-based role with senior-level responsibility and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with team-sport athletes.
• Cricket players experience is an advantage.
• Degree in Sports Science or related discipline and/or UKSCA/NSCA or equivalent certification.
• Understanding of strength training, conditioning, testing, recovery, and injury prevention.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our coaching staff and support the team's physical preparation, performance, recovery, and injury prevention.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead warm-ups, conditioning sessions, and injury-prevention programmes during three evening training sessions per week in Dubai.
• Conduct initial fitness assessments and regular performance testing throughout the season.
• Develop individualized gym and strength programmes tailored to players' needs and performance goals.
• Work closely with the Head Coach to monitor and manage fast bowlers' workloads.
• Support players in improving strength, speed, endurance, mobility, and overall physical performance.
• Recommend practical strategies to improve team fitness, recovery, and injury prevention.
• Track player progress and adjust training plans based on assessment results and performance demands.
• Contribute ideas and practical solutions to help establish the club's fitness and conditioning programme.

• Previous experience as a Strength & Conditioning Coach working with team-sport athletes.
• Experience working with cricket players is an advantage.
• A degree in Sports Science, Exercise Science, or a related discipline, and/or a recognised Strength & Conditioning qualification such as UKSCA, NSCA-CSCS, or an equivalent certification.
• Understanding of strength training, conditioning, performance testing, recovery, and injury-prevention principles.
• Ability to design individualized training programmes and adapt them to different athlete requirements.
• Knowledge of workload management, particularly for fast bowlers, is an advantage.
• A proactive, practical, and problem-solving approach, with the ability to contribute independent ideas.
• Strong commitment to player development, team performance, and consistent training.
• Must hold a valid UAE residence visa.
• Must be available for three evening training sessions per week in Dubai.
